I’m in my late 20s and I’ve been experiencing some thinning over the past several years. I don’t think it’s extreme enough to consider hair transplant surgery yet, though I recognize that I’ll probably need a transplant at some point in the future. Right now I’m looking for some milder treatment, such as medications or even lasers. My question is, who is the best person to discuss my hair loss treatment with? Are hair transplant surgeons experienced with just surgery or other treatments too? Would another type of doctor be better to go to at this point?
