It may not sound very manly but I’ve always been very squeamish when it comes to pain. I’d love to get a hair transplant but I’m very hesitant that it might involve a lot of pain or discomfort. How much pain is generally associated with hair transplants and how is it managed?

I’m about a 4 on the Norwood Scale and I’d like to know if, based on that, I’m more or less likely to suffer shock loss? Does shock loss occur more frequently in those with less or more hair loss, or is that not a factor at all?
