Zerona Body Contouring

NON-INVASIVE BODY CONTOURING
If you want to successfully get rid of excess fat without the negative side effects associated with surgical means, Zerona is the first non-invasive body contouring procedure. Zerona softens fat, using the same cold laser technology developed by Erchonia, and allows it to move to interstitial space. This technology reveals that the cold laser treatment, by itself, can assist patients to cut inches from their waist, hip and thighs even though this technology was originally utilized to help assist tumescent liposuction procedures.
The Zerona procedure alongside the cold laser process has been found to leave the capillaries and other cells within the interstitial space intact while entirely releasing the cellular contents of fat cells. The effect of the disruption of the cell’s membrane is the releasing of the fat cell contents. The result of low-level laser stimulation is the membrane disruption, also called a transitory pore.
Fat cells have a regular, cluster shape, prior to laser exposure. Fat cells begin to form transitory pores within minutes of low level laser exposure.
The Zerona procedure has demonstrated to be a successful non-invasive cold laser weight-loss and body contouring procedure through a double blind, indiscriminate, multi-site and placebo-controlled study. Generally, patients lost 3.64 inches on average from the perimeter of their hips, thighs and waist, but the group only lost an average of a half of an inch.
Surgical procedures can cause swelling, bruising and damage to other tissues, whereas the Zerona cold lasers give patients a safer option. With Zerona, there’s no need for anesthesia because there is no pain, and in addition, there is no need for compression garments or bandages. Patients can instantly continue their ordinary activities because Zerona low-level lasers do not heat tissue like other invasive procedures, so there is no discomfort and no downtime.
How Zerona Works
Zerona laser treatments are simple, pain free and relaxing. The low-level laser is used for a total of 40 minutes, so every session is under an hour long. For 20 minutes, the laser is applied to the usual trouble areas, a combination of the waist, thighs, and hips. As the patient flips to the other side, the exact procedure is done again. Two weeks with three full sessions each week is the smallest recommended treatment period. To receive greatest results for your body shape, weight and target loss, it is recommended that you speak to your doctor.
During the cold laser treatment, you are in a comfortable environment and lying in a still position for 20 minutes at a time. Many patients describe the sessions to be relaxing and even talk on the phone with friends and family. You will feel nothing during the treatment because Zerona uses cold laser technology. Due to the bio-stimulation that begins in your body, as you exit the treatment center you may feel a bit lighter and different.
To increase the speed of results, many doctors will recommend that patients take in more fiber and water before the treatments, however all doctors’ suggestions differ. Some doctors may suggest that after a treatment that you get a detoxifying massage or footbath. Although the results will remain, the information you receive is different from doctor to doctor.
During the 40 minute session, let the Zerona laser do all the work while you lay down and listen to music or relax to the sounds of ocean waves. This makes the Zerona laser procedure very different from the traditional fat reduction methods of liposuction and gastric-bypass surgery.
